Watchlist Update 10/28/16--Last sessions of October

What's up guys and gals, It's been a while since I've posted anything about trading being that the market conditions have sucked chicken eggs over the last couple months. Read my article about such conditions >>>>>>>>>HERE<<<<<<<<<<

However as we near the election I am starting to look back into things because I am pretty confident that November is going to be lit! My watchlist is small (2 stocks) with Earnings being released in the first week or so of November along with some ETF's to watch.

NVGS: as you can see we are flagging under that neckline. This has earnings being released on the first (This coming Tuesday) so be looking for a smaller breakout on Monday with a continuation on Tuesday IF THE EARNINGS REPORT IS GOOD! Don't swing this over night.....earnings are unpredictable....thats my $0.02

ORIG: already had a nice run the other day which was a breakout, Hoping to see a continuation when earnings is released on the 10th of November (2 days after the election/should be interesting) IF THE EARNINGS REPORT IS POSITIVE.

Also just a tip when market conditions are awful like this, keep a sharp eye on popular ETF's as they tend to mimic the market which can be a good thing when the market is making big intraday swings like it is now. So here are some ETF's to look at.

Oil: DWTI, UWTI--these are oil etf's but they trade just like stocks they are inverse of each other so if you want to short one you buy the other.

Gold: JNUG, NUGT, GLD

Watchlist Update/Session Recap 9/28/16

What's up guys, just posting the watchlist update...It's been a while I think. The watchlist is bigger than it has been being. A lot of these are like stocks that I just want to see how they play out by the end of the week because a lot of them seemed to have a momentous move today. So I'm looking for a push over these resistance necklines. Because.....obviously....they're triangle patterns.

MITK: Had a pretty decent day today, over that trendline and then closing at the 8.50 resistance, Hopefully we can get over that for a dollar gain to the 9.50 resistance and maybe to 10$$

OZM: Had a decent day today also, just as MITK closed at resistance, but OZM closed just above so hopefully we can open tomorrow above with a run.....all speculation though.

TK:  this one had a good day today also, so a push to resistance would be a good gain so hopefully we can see a push to/over the resistance.

TOO: Looks kind of flat but had a 10% gain today, got an alert today in class and was sitting on my hands like "that's nice" lol

ZIOP:  Was about to cut this one buuuuuut she had a good day today behind my back so Hoping to see a push over the neck....It's a flat top now as apposed to a descending trendline if you paid close enough attention...lol

Alright guys just going to go over a recap and a decent lesson. As traders we strive to make money yes.....But before you can make money you only have 43 thousand things to learn before that happens. An important trait to becoming successful is to be able to lose and then stay emotionless and disciplined enough to make a comeback and break even or go green. That is what I was able to do, I didn't go green but I started the session out down a hundred bucks by trading AVXL and got stuck in that chop shop nonsense and it flipped on me and I cut my losses as seen below.

So freaking up AVXL and losing a quick hundred bucks I then noticed how $SEED was flagging at the 3$ whole Number resistance with some selling pressure. So I shorted at 3 and sold in the low 2.90's and broke even on the day...I never found anything else but ended the day down 4$ which in my eyes is a win! 

The importance of this recap is to know to not fall in love with a stock and cut losses, because had I not cut losses there would have been a lot bigger of a loss! 

And to remain emotionless and disciplined to recognize setups and trade to make comebacks and also to know when to quit trading during the day when the trades just aren't rolling.

DISCIPLINE IS KEY!!!!!!!!

Watchlist Update: 9/25/16--Start To a New Week!

What's up guys just updating the watchlist into the new week, bringing September into a close I don't know about you guys but I could very much so tell a difference in the volatility of September vs. August. Hopefully we can see a pickup through October and then November is going to be lit!

So here is the watchlist: These are just stocks that I like the daily chart for a potential breakout...this doesn't mean that they're just going to magically rip tomorrow. These are really a waiting game. ZIOP: Still waiting for this breakout to come, for the breakout over 6$$$ These triangle patterns are simply a waiting game.

PACB: We are still flirting around that neckline. Hoping to see some volume come in for a push over.

I am putting these two together, FIT &GPRO....they have very similar daily charts which they both seem to be breaking out of. FIT is very near and dear to my heart as it is the first stock I ever made money off of. This was also when it was at 50$ a share lol. Hoping to see a reversal in both of these. GoPro just also released a new drone.

CPRX is the stock I did the video on at the top. Hoping to see a continuation tomorrow for the breakout.

Watchlist Update: 9/20/16 Bio's are HOTTT

What's up guys, just going to post the watchlist update. Ever since the Novavax debacle, biotechs have been gettin sh!t done! So the three I'm watching are below along with another to prove an example.

$NWBO: Flagging under $.70 hoping to see a rollover and a push to/above a dollar.

PACB: Looking for the 9$ rollover and hoping to see a push back to the high 10's back to that resisance.

$ZIOP: Is probably my favorite right now. As you can see we are seeing some real pressure to break over that neckline. We actually got it today but it lasted like 3 minutes. So hoping to see some real push.

$CARA has already broken out (remember seeing this on the watchlist a few weeks ago?)

Watchlist Update 9/18/16

What's up guys, Posting the watchlist along with some updates that I'm excited about. For those who actually follow this blog and have been since like the beginning.....my day one people. So scroll to the bottom to read my update that I plan to launch in a week or two. So here is the watchlist.

WFT: Hoping to see a bounce right off that trendline back to the neckline to new highs....If we get a breakdown then she's dead to me.

ZIOP: looking hot, had a decent day on Thursday so hoping to see some continuation over the next few days. But as you know the whole NVAX debacle really made other bio's eat shiz on Friday...however ZIOP only dropped 2% so she held pretty alright....unlike XOMA.

HNR: waiting to break the first neckline to head to a dollar. Then looking for the dollar roll...these are really just a waiting game. Follow me on Social Media (Twitter) for my live daytrading alerts/scalp plays.

NVAX: I am really watching this for scalps throughout the next day or so. It is obviously going to be volatile, It just dropped 80% in a day (less really). It then ripped like 50 cent on Friday so hoping to see some more upside, or a hot short as it nears a dollar. On watch though. Probably for just tomorrow.

Alright guys, here is my update: I plan to launch, on YouTube, a DayTrading VLog where I talk about my trades and give you some motivation as I aspire to eventually do this professionally. I believe I will have launched the first ever VLOG that talks about stocks and daytrading. Now if you all don't try to be dicks and launch one before me then I will be the first. It's really a video blog series that shows that you all are not alone.

 You never have people reach out to you who are traders until they're successful with hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars. So I want to start a video blog that takes you through my Trials, Tribulations, life, and times of an aspiring DayTrader. I'll openly admit that I am not a professional But I do know what I am doing. I do have stocks from the watchlist above breakout every once in a while and find good picks throughout the day. I am still working out the psychological part of Trading and you'll see that throughout the series. It would be kind of cool to document the transition of doing this part time to full time and you guys get to see that journey and me to have it on video, in series form.

I'm pretty excited about it. So I will flood social media when that first video comes out so be on the lookout.

Watchlist Update 9/14/16

What's up guys, just going to post the Watchlist Update. A lot are gone due to breakdowns and what not. I am keeping a tight Swing trade watchlist right now due to discipline and all that. The Watchlist:

WFT: looking for this to breakout, It's really been trading choppy lately. I really expected it to breakout today or yesterday, But the Dow is looking like a potential breakdown which is why you have to be careful with these. But patiently awaiting for a break over that 6.3-ish level.

$XOMA for those of you who saw the last post, I really played this up like she was going to breakout huge. I want to kind of retract some aggressiveness that I may have portrayed then. Because watching the one minute chart is really ugly. So I still believe this thing could go as it did in the past with a very similar setup and like you'll see on the next one history repeats itself. But it really needs some volume to come in and some people to really pay attention to it. But I still believe we could see some upside.

HNR, I have been watching this come across my scanner during the day during those spikes that I've pointed out. I happened to notice the daily chart today and this thing has a real sex appeal to it lol. You can't tell me I don't have a valid point spelled out on the chart. This thing once we get the dollar roll could really see some upside. Dollar rolls are a hot pattern! Now I won't say all this will happen tomorrow, But I'm hoping the third spike will be the charm! Hoping to over a dollar soon.
