My Story
By: Jacob Pierce (Creator of PierceTrades)
What's up guys, just going to post a little something about myself. I got into the market around 3 years ago. I was in High School wondering how I was going to become financially stable in life. The word "Investing" came to mind, so of course I started googling and youtubing investing because I had no idea what the word even consisted of. Like I heard of the stock market before but I had no idea what a "stock" was. I youtubed investing and came across some penny stock videos and eventually came across a guy named Cameron Fous. He was truly the only guy that could keep my attention, and I obviously liked his lifestyle. I studied his videos on youtube and followed him on social media and what not for like the next two years because his 2 strategy DVD's were $1,000.00 for both and I refused to pay that. This was like 6 month ago lol.
I have always, ever since I wrapped my head around the market, had a knack for trading and picking stocks. The first Stock I ever picked was MBLX and the next day it ran like 20% and I didn't even know about the pdt rule or trade commissions and I funded my account with like 15 bucks and made like 2 bucks and lost everything in the account because of commissions. Obviously I knew nothing thinking I was going to get rich off of 15$. I have spent the next couple of years learning here and there, doing my thing and not really being 100% dedicated to trading but it was definitely a passion of mine and making a trade here and there losing money here and there but not really being 100% dedicated to trading and making this a thing.
Over the past summer I was trying to do some trading and was on vacation and saw that Fitbit: FIT was releasing it's first ever earnings and was expected to do pretty good. So 2 days before the release I bought in and held overnight and was up a small profit like a dollar a share on a 50.00$ stock and sold early because pm it went up 6 dollars a share but I was driving when it ripped and couldn't have traded it so it was a smart decision because the next session it tanked. But that was my first ever profitable trade. It also had nothing to do with my current strategy, which as you can tell if you've followed me any consist of triangle trading as seen below, and it has done pretty good for me as you can see below.
My freshman year of college, which is this school year (2015-2016), but this fall back in august I was trying to get my trading career started and thought it was going not bad, I was surviving in the market and what not and then I severely broke my ankle at the end of august and went through surgery (9 screws and a plate), while I was on the mend from that basically bed ridden and on painkillers for 3 solid weeks The stock market hadn't even crossed my mind. After I returned to school after like a month after the accident I was back in my apartment and on my own...with crutches and a cast and was hating life and near depressed. I was sitting in bed one night when I saw where the guy I followed, Cameron Fous, sent out a discount alert where his two 1,000.00 dvd's were 50% off for 500$ and I sat in bed and prayed about it and told myself that If I bought these I would have to be 150% committed, I then clicked finalize order and have ever since been involved with the market hard. I have since joined Wolves Trading Co. and started my own blog that I plan to monetize and add a chatroom and maybe sell my own market education for much cheaper than Cameron's lol. I have since then made his strategy fit me and have built up my own strategy and want to share my knowledge with everyone along with learn from others.
That is my entire relationship with the market, (since I posted this) I feel like I have a relatively simple strategy to trading stocks that can work for anyone. If you want to learn my strategy I will be more than happy to teach anyone the whole thing from beginning to end, might as well jump on it now while I'll probably give it to you for free. I want to fast track your journey to success because 3 years is a long time to be dedicated to something, but trading stocks is a passion and a worthy one if you can consistently make money and/or survive. Ohh and the surgery went great and I am walking again in case you were wondering. I hope we can eventually become a community of PierceTrades traders and all work together to make money!
